9/11/12 Daily Food Journal

Sending out prayers and blessings on this day of rememberance for our country.

Today I had some spinal adjustments done at my doctor's. She uses the activator method, a small hand held device used to give chiropractic adjustments to the spine and joints. It is a softer approach than the "crack your back" method. As suspected, my neck was out after months of not having treatment. Thank you!! Alignment feels so good :) She recommends ongoing maintenance in the way of massage and chiropractic adjustments due to the ongoing effects of the accident-- I agree! Pain relief improves performance at work, improves sleep, promotes a better attitude and relations with friends and family. All around good boost for life!

Women's Blend Tea: Nettles, Red Raspberry, Oatstraw, Red Clover, Peppermint, Lavender, Lemon Balm, Rose Petals (Relaxing and Nourishing -- my body does ok with these herbs, pretty mild)

12oz Juice- Chard, Romaine, Celery, Cucumber, Carrot, Beet, Green Apple, Ginger, Lemon, splash of organic extra virgin Olive Oil

Breakfast : Gluten-free English Muffin with vegan Pesto and Cucumber slices

Lunch: Taco Salad - Romaine lettuce, free range organic chicken, tofu taco blend, beef (very little), zucchini, onion, red pepper, olives, cultured veggies, guacamole, tofu tahini dressing
Digest Basic Digestive Enzymes

Snack : Cashew LaraBar - cashews, dates
Fresh Figs

16oz Juice - same as before

Snack : Blueberry LaraBar - blueberry, dates, cashews, blueberry juice concentrate, lemon juice concentrate, vanilla extract

Dinner : Lentil Soup with Gluten-free crackers

Observation #1: Digestive elimination a little slow in AM- response to dairy on pizza yesterday
